ISSA Boys’ U-15 basketball starts Friday
MONTEGO BAY, St James – The ISSA Western Conference Boys’ Under- 15 basketball competition begins on Friday, with Cornwall College hosting York Castle in Montego Bay starting at 2:00 pm.
Four schools, including Herbert Morrison Technical and Holland High, will compete in the championship that will see the winner of the final, set for June, advancing to a national play-off.
The junior competition follows the Under-19 that ended in April and was won by Herbert Morrison who went on to lose in the national final.
The teams will play each other twice, with the top two on points qualifying for the final.
On Monday, Herbert Morrison will host Holland High.
Meanwhile, 13 teams are set to play in the Southern Conference and the top two will advance to the national play-offs as well as one from the Central Conference in which five schools are down to compete.
