WATCH: Meadows Vale residents protest after 11-y-o mowed down by speeding car
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Residents of the Meadows Vale community in St James are protesting what they say are unsafe practices of motorists travelling on the Retirement main road after 11-year-old Jason Bryan was mowed down by a speeding motorcar on Sunday evening.
Bryan, a grade five student of the Barrack Road Primary School, passed away at the Cornwall Regional Hospital on Monday afternoon.
Angry residents, on Tuesday, came out in their numbers and blocked sections of the main road calling for justice for young Bryan.
