How to safely share passwords
You can safely and securely share passwords with people you trust, and the best way to manage your passwords is with a password manager. Password managers store your username and password combinations for all your accounts securely and share a username and password with someone else.
Some password managers also set up an emergency contact or someone to inherit all or some of your passwords if your account becomes inactive. The password manager Keeper offers Manage Account Emergency Access that adds up to five e-mail addresses as emergency contacts to be alerted and given instructions for accessing your account after a seven-day waiting period of inactivity on your part.
1Password’s Emergency Kit includes all the information someone would need to log into your account. Google’s Inactive Account Manager lets a designated person inherit your Google account.
