Help to change password automatically
It would be best if you changed your passwords after a data breach. And there is help to make it easy, thanks to Chrome for Android’s latest automatic password replacement.
Chrome for Android will warn you if your password is compromised and offer to change the password automatically with the help of Google Assistant. Chrome suggests a secure replacement or allows you to choose a new password.
If you are a DIY person, you can manually scan for compromised passwords with Chrome. Open your Settings and go to Passwords to scan data breaches. A reminder that this automatic password changing tool is exclusive to the Chrome Android app.
Google announced last year that it would be introducing a feature in Chrome for Android that would allow Assistant to help users change stolen passwords in a few taps. The ability to automatically change hacked passwords was introduced by password managers such as LastPass And Dashlan. But Google’s feature could end up having a much greater reach.
