Our Endless Love
Attorney-at-law Stacy-Ann Williams and Mystic Shuttle CEO Clifton Richardson segued from a solid friendship to lovers and, two days before Valentine’s Day, exchanged I do’s at The Tryall Club, Hanover. Naturally, red was the dominant colour.
“Over the years, our friendship blossomed into a loving, caring, and nurturing relationship and we became inseparable,” shared Stacy-Ann with Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). It certainly didn’t hurt that they lived in proximity to each other. Indeed, it afforded time to really get to know each other. Within six years they were engaged and planning their happily-ever-after.
Stacy-Ann’s venue of choice was the magnificent Tryall Club and wedding planner Suzette Brown, principal of Curated Events and Services, was immediately retained. Several site inspections later, the property’s Great House was chosen for the exchange of vows and the stunning beachside club for the reception. Gold accents were added to the red. The theme: Love
Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years signalled the bride’s solo arrival. (Ill health, alas, prevented her father Derrick Williams from attending. Her mother is deceased). Her exquisite halter neck Cinderella wedding gown featured crystal and pearl beads on embroidered appliqués. Her bouquet of red hydrangeas, carnations, roses, lilies, and alstroemeria infused further passion.
The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Sheldon Rose.
The reception followed at the property’s beachside Club House. The setting inside the ample clear-top tent was described by the newly-weds as being magical, like something out of a fairy tale complete with fog and sparkling lights. Red napkins, gold-rim chargers, gold cutlery and gold trumpet vase centrepieces filled with red roses, hydrangeas, carnations and alstroemeria atop white tablecloths added the requisite regal elegance. MC Nakita Bernett-Hamilton welcomed guests ahead of presenting Mr & Mrs Clifton Richardson who made their entrance to the pulsating sounds of If by Davido.
Dinner catered by The Tryall Club left guests satiated and ready for the heartfelt toasts that followed. Bridesmaid Caprice Morrison raised a toast to the bride while best man Jeffory Royal offered words on behalf of the groom, and Denise McPherson to the parents of the groom. The bride’s mother was remembered by close friend Meva Walters who recited a poem.
Other formalities included the cutting of the Leanne Cooke wedding cake, the bride and groom’s first dance as husband and wife to Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie, and the garter and bridal bouquet throw.
The newly-weds chose Panama for their honeymoon.
