Policeman killed, female passenger injured in highway crash

ST ANN, Jamaica – A policeman is dead and a woman seriously injured following a motor vehicle crash on the North-South Highway in St Ann on Saturday night.

Reports are that the cop was driving a motor car on the highway about 8pm when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned in a ditch near Golden Grove.

The cop and a female passenger were taken to hospital where the lawman was pronounced dead and the woman admitted in serious condition.
