CARIFTA Games: Jamaica’s Gordon, Campbell double in boys’ U-17 sprint hurdles
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s double medal performances kept coming on Monday, as Shaquane Gordon and Jadan Campbell produced another one-two finish in the boys’ Under-17 110-metre hurdles at the 49th Carifta Games at the National Stadium.
Gordon got a blistering start from lane six, clearing the first three flight of hurdles with minimum fuss and from there it became a mere formality.
He stopped the clock in 13.69 seconds with Campbell staying on for second in 13.91, followed by Jermahd Huggins (15.21) of St Kitts and Nevis.
