Foreign national charged with illegal possession of ammunition in St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica – Thirty-seven-year-old St Lowrie Williams of Red Burge Drive, Ohio, Missouri in the United States of America, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of ammunition following an incident at the Sangster International Airport on Saturday.
Reports reaching Observer Online are that about 1:08pm, Williams was in the process of boarding a flight home when his luggage was searched at a security checkpoint. During the search, one 9mm round of ammunition was found in the pocket of a knapsack.
Williams was subsequently arrested and charged.
His court date is being finalised.
