Flat Bridge haunted!
With recent events occurring in the Bog Walk Gorge near the infamous Flat Bridge, the recurrent stories of mermaids, often told by residents who live in the communities nearby and repeated by all who hear, began making the rounds after another fatal crash.
In one media interview a young man attested to the fact that many motor vehicle mishaps and crashes had taken place in the area, with vehicles driving off the bridge into the Rio Cobre, or by seemingly deliberate acts of individuals driving into the river and the people dying because, as locals believe, the bridge is haunted.
The young man said that when the river gets dirty it gets dangerous, and the mermaid comes out because it wants blood, and the people have not been giving blood rituals at the river for some time to appease the mermaid.
He narrated that when a group of people went there to sprinkle blood some years ago, six people died after. It has, therefore, become a monument of evil for human sacrifice. This act of sprinkling blood is one of spiritual ignorance, demonic tolerance, invocation of evil, and participation in the works of darkness. This is called blood sacrifice.
The tradition of sprinkling blood and/or rum, et cetera should be abolished in Jamaica. Are we not a Christian nation? What are the Christians doing? Are we too relaxed or negligent, or has spiritual slumber taken us?
Let us wake up as giants and trample on the forces of darkness — Psalm 91. Let us protect our Christian heritage that is an envy of many nations where Christianity is not freely practised. Let us reclaim the island from the hands of duppies, witchcraft, spiritism, and all works of darkness.
God wants this island to be swept clean of all these evils, principalities, and powers who seem to have occupied our territory because we have not stood up as the army of the Lord to send the guests from hell back, and to shut down the gates of hell (Genesis 22:17b).
First of all, who gave the demons the audacity to terrorise the people and cause accidents? The blood sprinklers are invoking the mermaids to come out and drink blood. They are spiritists indirectly worshipping the demons. This is grossly condemned by the word of God in Deuteronomy 4: 16- 19:
“16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
18 The likeness of anything that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.”
If Elias, who was subject to like passion, as we are, could pray earnestly that it might not rain on the face of the earth for three and half years and it happened; and he prayed again and the heavens gave rain (James 5: 17-18), why do we sit here and allow mermaids to dictate what happens?
Let us therefore arise as the Christian body, and as concerned citizens with combined forces, to rebuke forcefully, evacuate and break the power of the mermaid and other forces of darkness in the Rio Cobre and its vicinity now in Jesus name!
We send the consuming fire of God to the mermaid spirit now and forever!
I now decree and declare that the obstacle to the proper construction of Flat Bridge be removed and be protected by the angels of God in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
