Police searching for man who broke into car, stole $500,000
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are searching for a man who broke into a car in St Andrew earlier this month and stole approximately $500,000.
Video recording shared by the Jamaica Constabulary Force, shows the man hurling objects at the driver’s door, breaking the window on a second attempt after which he opened the door.
He partially entered the vehicle and picked up a brown package then ran away.
The man was dressed in a black pants and a black and white shirt. He was also wearing an orange cap.
The police said the theft took place on March 17 in the St Andrew North Police Division.
At the time of this publication, the constabulary’s communication arm was unable to state the precise location of the incident.
