Jamaica records 289 new COVID-19 infections, 9 deaths
Jamaica recorded 289 new cases of COVID-19 infections and nine deaths in the last 24 hours.
The new cases – which are 163 females and 126 males – have pushed the total number of infections to 37,747.
The total number of deaths now stands at 566.
The nation also recorded 168 more recoveries, while active cases increased to 19,906.
Hospitalisations stand at 427, with 40 people being critically ill and 45 moderately ill.
