Gas prices up $2.50, diesel up $1.35
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, March 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $135.56 and $138.39 per litre, respectively, up by $2.50 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $130.18 per litre following an increase of $1.35 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.57 and will be sold for $134.40 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.20 and will be sold for $104.54 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $58.98 per litre, down by $0.05 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $58.75 per litre after an increase of $0.20.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
