Pawing Their Way Into Our Hearts

We lost Rio to cancer last year so this year was difficult, especially since our routine changed dramatically.

Not having him around was palpable because the kids were home all day but he was not. It made us realise having a dog in the house made a big difference to our moods. He didn’t care what kind of day we had.

He would just want us to hug and love him. So we do that now with each other, just for him.
