Forever Grateful
There was immediate chemistry when Andre Andrews, CEO, Dre’s Homemade Water Ice and Ice Cream, met Nicole Scott, oncology aesthetician, at the party of a mutual friend in April 2015. Intros were made, telephone numbers exchanged and dating commenced. After three years Andre chose Christmas Eve 2018 at the Philadelphia Art Museum in front of a Christmas tree to propose.
Nicole’s Jamaican roots led the two to a dream destination wedding at Borghinvilla, Discovery Bay, on Saturday, October 12, 2019 where they stood on the cliffside overlooking the majestic Caribbean Sea and exchanged wedding vows.
Andre was smart in a Tom Ford navy blue suit with a blush tie while his bride made a pretty picture in a distinctive heart-shaped white Vera Wang gown that accentuated the decolletage. She flashed a gorgeous smile alongside her dad David as she made her entrance to Hezekiah Walker’s Grateful . Her bouquet comprised peonies, hydrangeas and roses.
The ceremony was officiated by Patricia Bruce.
The reception continued under a white draped tent on the cliffside at Borghinvilla, which event planner Jennifer Borgh and her team decorated with shades of blush pink, navy and gold accents. The bridal party made their entrance to Meek Mill’s Ima Boss featuring Rick Ross, followed by the newly weds to Drake’s Legend.
Post-formalities, guests enjoyed an elegant meal by Borghinvilla resident chef Francis and witnessed the cutting of the chocolate cake with buttercream frosting from Joy of Food.
The newly-weds then opened the dance floor to Sade’s Kiss of Life. Guests, thereafter, joined them partying into the night to the sounds of Borghinvilla’s deejay.
The couple honeymooned at Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Montego Bay.
