KC, Clarendon College move into Champions Cup semis

Kingston College (KC) advanced to the semifinals of the

Champion Cup schoolboy football all-island knockout competition on Saturday

when they defeated Frome Technical 2-1 at Montego Bay Sports Complex.

KC took the lead on an own-goal in the 62nd minute. Rajae Gavin sealed the deal five minutes into second-half added time. Giovanni Mitto had equalised for Frome Technical in the 66th minute.

Clarendon College also advanced to the semifinals as they defeated St Andrew Technical High School 2-1 at Stadium East in the other early match on Saturday (Nov 9).

KC rested a number of regular starters with coach Ludlow

Bernard bringing in Dwayne Atkinson and Jamari Morrison after one hour and they

immediately impacted the match.
