#JFDF A Glorious Reduction
It seems incredible that an entire week of well-executed food events has come to a close. There was no look of fatigue however, on the faces of team JFDF. Indeed, like the setting and the musical soundscape of the T1 band all were in chillax mode. New Level Decor handled design details and dropped a tent, just a tad too low, but thankfully the gorgeous mountains were still visible. The genius though was as guests arrived they were able to sit wherever and partake of fare from:
Roast Meats featuring Simon Levy
Ashebre The Virtual Restaurant featuring Oji Jaja
Sagicor Crepe Station featuring Jacqui Tyson
Stush in the Bush featuring Lisa and Chris Binns
Pastry Chef Dawn Mitchell
Thirst quenchers from the Select Brands Drink Menu included:
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio
Santa Margherita Prosecco
Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé
Santa Margherita Chianti
Whispering Angel
Absolut Elyx Watermelon Chiller
Absolut Elyx Wild Berry Bliss
The more came courtesy of guest chefs Rui Sa of Angola and Natacha Mendes, founder & managing director Taste Black History.
Hours later and in between sips of the world’s best coffee, new friendships had been forged, and appreciation of the power of food. Cheers to the Jamaica Food & Drink Festival on a successful five-year inning.
Sunday’s brunch was co-hosted by Sagicor Investments.
