System difficulties affecting COJ
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Companies Office of Jamaica says it’s online and in-office services have been affected by difficulties current being experienced with the organisation’s automated registration system.
According to Kawain Fearon, public relations officer at the COJ, “the primary platform from which we complete registrations and other services has been experiencing difficulties. This has affected our services. We are, therefore, appealing to our customers for their continued patience and understanding.”
The agency is further appealing to customers with scheduled pick-up of documents for Friday, November 1 and Monday, November 4 to do so on Tuesday, November 5.
“The system went down last evening as a result of network connectivity issues and we have been working to rectify them since then.
“We continue to have intermittent disruptions however, but we hope to have the system up and running by Monday, November 4, 2019. On that day we will provide further updates to our customers,” said Fearon.
