Doha 2019: No medal for Porter in women’s long jump
DOHA, Qatar — Jamaica’s Chanice Porter was unable to secure a medal in the women’s long jump final, ending up in eighth position, at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar, a short while ago.
Porter’s best jump was 6.56 metres.
Germany’s Malaika Mihambo won gold with 7.30 metres, while Ukraine’s Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk won silver with a jump of 6.92 metres and Nigeria’s Ese Brume got bronze with a 6.91 metre jump.
