Doha 2019: Ricketts takes silver in women’s triple jump
DOHA, Qatar — Jamaica’s Shanieka Ricketts won silver in the women’s triple jump final at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar, a short while ago.
The Diamond League champion jumped 14.92 metres on her third attempt, behind Venezuela’s Yulimar Rojas who won with 15.37 metres.
Columbia’s Caterine Ibarguen won bronze with 14.73 metres.
Jamaica’s Kimberly Williams who jumped a personal best of 14.64 metres was fourth.
