Doha 2019: Chanice Porter advances to long jump final
DOHA, Qatar — Jamaica’s Chanice Porter will compete in the final round of the women’s long jump at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Porter notched 6.57 metres with her final jump in Group A to make the finals, knocking out defending champion Brittney Reese of the United States in the process.
The qualifying mark is 6.75m.
Jamaica’s Tissanna Hickling, jumping in Group B, did not advance from the qualification round.
