Doha 2019: Kimberly Williams qualifies for triple jump final
DOHA, Qatar — Despite not making the 14.30 metres automatic qualifying mark, Jamaica’s Kimberly Williams has advanced to the final of the women’s triple jump at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Williams’ best jump of 14.20 metres was made on her second attempt in Group B, making her the 11
th
best performer in the qualification round.
Team mate Shanieka Ricketts topped the list with her 14.42m jump, which she made on her first attempt in Group A.
