Doha 2019: Love, Lawrence fail to advance to discus final
DOHA, Qatar — Shadae Lawrence and Shanice Love both failed to advance to the final of the Women’s Discus at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships inside Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Both women were unable to make the 63-metre automatic qualifying mark and finished 16
th
and 19
th
respectively.
Love, who competed in Group A, made her best throw of 59.50m on her third attempt, while Lawrence’s best throw (58.51m) came on her second attempt in Group B.
Only the 12 best performers have advanced.
