Doha 2019: Omar McLeod wins 110mH heat for semi-final spot
DOHA, Qatar — Jamaica’s Omar McLeod led from the start in the Men’s 110-metre hurdles and despite hitting the first hurdle, won heat one to secure his spot in the semi-finals at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
The Olympic champion looked relaxed as he completed the race in 13.17 seconds, beating Milan Trajkovic of Cyprus into second, though he still produced a season’s best 13.37s clocking to advance.
South Africa’s Antonio Alkana and Devon Allen of USA were third and fourth to advance to the semis.
