Doha 2019: Blake, Tracey through to 100m semis…Goule advance in 800m, Gayle in long jump
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Yohan Blake and Tyquendo Tracey have qualified for the semi-final round of the 100m at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships currently underway in Doha, Qatar.
Blake won his heat in 10.07 seconds while Tracey qualified as one of the fastest losers after placing fourth in his heat in a time of 10.21 seconds.
Earlier, Natoya Goule won heat four of the 800 metre qualifiers in a time of 2:01:01 seconds to advance to the semi-finals.
Tajay Gayle also qualified for the long jump finals after jumping a distance of 7.89 metre on his last attempt.
