Things you should never discuss with your friends
We all have good friends that we share some of our deepest and most intimate secrets with, as sharing allows us to get a second opinion and gives voice to concerns that we may otherwise keep bottled up.
Talking about our problem relieves our emotional stress because a friend can cheer us up, commiserate and assure us that we are not crazy for having certain thoughts in our head.
Yes, it is good to have trusted friends but sometimes we have to be careful of the information we trust them with. Not everyone is good at secret-keeping; plus sometimes we hold them in high esteem but we never truly know what they think and feel about us.
Therefore, in order not to have our dirty laundry all over social media or for us to be the butt of jokes behind our back, when we share we sometimes need to edit ourselves and not spill all of our beans to our ‘friends’. Here are a few things we need to keep to ourselves.

[naviga:li]Your income. If you want to see the green-eyed monster of jealousy, let your friends know how much money you make and you will see how their body language change right in front of you.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Your sex life, especially if your partner can put it on you good. This is a recipe for disaster.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li] A secret about someone else. If someone shared something private with you, they did so with you – so do go talking about it with a third partner. That is so not cool.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Your bank balance. Not if you do not intend to be a standing ATM for everybody who needs a loan or favour.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]How many persons you have slept with. No matter how the conversation is salacious and liquor is flowing, keep your body count to yourself![/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Criminal acts that you committed that you have never been charged with. It may sound good to boas,t but if that friend ever turns enemy it can come back to bite you.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Crimes you have committed and already done time for. Though you have already paid your debt to society, we live in a world where judgement and criticism never go away.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Confidential information about your work or workplace. Do not jeopardise your job or career because of idle chatter.[/naviga:li]
