Zendaya Answers 73 Questions for Vogue
On May 31, Vogue published to its YouTube channel, its latest installment in its 73 Questions series. For each of Vogue’s 73 Questions videos, a popular celebrity or influencer is posed a series of questions non-stop by an off-camera interviewer, usually in a comfortable locale such as the star’s home. For Zendaya’s video, she lounges around her beautiful, spacious backyard, picking lemons for lemonade and sitting poolside with her interviewer. Zendaya’s poise, humility and down-to-earth nature shines through as she plays with her dog Noon, happily introduces the interviewer to her assistant and friend Darnell and shares about just how much of a homebody she really is.
Trouble in the NCIS Offices
If you are or have ever been a fan of CBS’ crime drama NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service), sit down for this news. Pauley Perrette, who starred for a number of seasons as the drama’s goth tech nerd and Agent Gibbs’ dear friend, revealed on Twitter that she left the show because of fear for her safety. She alleged that her co-star Mark Harmon (who plays Agent Gibbs) has been violent with her on set in the past and has been violent with others, while quickly pointing out that the set of her upcoming CBS programme has been a positive change from that of NCIS. Mark Harmon has not yet commented on the allegations.
The ‘Beyhive’ stings again
This week Beyoncé stans were yet again overzealous in defending their queen. The victim of death threats and nasty social media comments? Nicole Curran, wife of Joe Lacob, the owner of the NBA team Golden State Warriors. The reason? Pictures surfaced online of Bey sitting courtside between Nicole and Jay Z, looking unimpressed as Nicole leaned in to speak to Bey’s husband, rapper Jay Z. According to Nicole, she offered to get drinks but could not hear exactly what Jay Z was saying he’d like in his drink, so she leaned a little closer. The Beyhive, however, took offence to her invading Beyoncé ‘s personal space, and Nicole Curran has since made her Instagram account private in order to escape the hate. Following Nicole’s tweets in explanation and the hate slinging, Bey’s publicist has encouraged stans to spread love, not hate. We hope the whole thing blows over soon.
Selena Gomez does good Stopping by at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City as part of the 10th annual Big Slick Celebrity fundraiser, actress and singer Selena Gomez posed for a number of photos with patients, reportedly played games, signed autographs and coloured with the children. Along for the visit were other celebrities including Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis.

In 2018, Tim Bergling, the Swedish DJ more popularly known as Avicii committed suicide. Since his tragic passing hundreds of recordings of unreleased tracks had been found among his possessions. Through careful consideration and hard work, made possible in no small part thanks to Avicii’s level of organisation, Avicii’s team members, overseen by members of his immediate family, have been able to put together a 12 track album that Avicii might’ve been proud of. TIM is available for purchase or streaming on major music platforms.
