It’s the greatest thing. I always look back at my parents with admiration, and say, will I ever be like that? Having my children has made me a different person. It’s done away with the feeling of selfishness – I’ve had to live for them.

What’s the story behind your child’s name?
Martina is a combination of her parents’ names: Mar is from Marcia, her mother, and Tina is the feminine spelling for Tony.
What were your immediate thoughts at the birth of your child?
Thank you, God, and what a way she red! (She was really red.)
