SO Marci Cocktails With Marci Ien
Marci Ien has been in television for 40 years. She was a cast member of a kids’ show called Circle Square from 10-16 years of age, a programme that was broadcast throughout the world including Jamaica. In fact, filming was done several times in Montego Bay — so she spent some of her formative years on the island. She’s been with CTV for more than 20 years and is the former news anchor and co-host of Canada AM and is now co-host on The Social , Canada’s number 1 daytime television show.
Home is… Toronto, Canada
Favourite things to do… Eat! We are one of the most diverse cities in the world and that makes for amazing cuisine! I also love theatre. We have a vibrant arts community.
Bus/Taxi/Tube … Tube/subway.
My Toronto secret… There are so many hidden gems in our city. I was born here and am still discovering them. Nothing beats walking the boardwalk at the beach. Yes, Toronto has a beach.
Where do you go to let your hair down… Montego Bay, Jamaica!
If you could buy any building in Toronto and live there it would be… Casa Loma. The library is spectacular! You need a ladder to get to the top of the bookshelves.
