My Sweet Little One,

You have been in my belly for all of 34 weeks and we are counting down to the day we get to see our baby boy.

You are the blessing my dreams had given up on. My special gift from God. I know that I am so in love with you and you have yet to take your first breath; and after you make your entrance to this world I pray that with every breath you take you always feel my love. You are about to make your village (dad, grandparents, aunties and uncles) so happy as they have been hoping for a boy and love you so much already I am sure you know their voices by now. Your baby sister rubs you and kisses you every night. I think she is excited.

I wonder all the time who you will look like. Will you have our attributes, even some we aren’t so proud of like stubbornness? Will you be exactly like your awesome sister? Sweet and full of personality!!

There is no way of knowing what the future holds for you, but I can promise you that we will do everything we can to keep you safe and loved. We will teach you about life, strength, enjoying life, loving, being kind and caring, honesty, respect, and instil the values we hope will lead you to being the best you and the best contributor to the world you live in. We want to allow you to feel that you can always make your voice heard, no matter how small you are.

I will always be there for you, your biggest fan and your biggest supporter.

So to my sweet, innocent baby boy, you are our second miracle and we love you and can’t wait to meet you!
