To my little man,

As you lie all snuggled in my tummy preparing to enter this world I want you to know that you are in no way entering perfection. You are coming to an environment that will always consist of good and bad, highs and lows, happiness and sadness, love and hate, laughter and tears, and triumphs and losses. I know this imperfection can sound very scary but you need not be afraid because as long as I am your mummy I will always remind you that good has the power to overcome bad, that your focus should be on the fantastic feeling of your highs and how to make your lows better, that happiness could never exist without sadness, that the only cure for hate is love, that a really good laugh ends in tears and that triumphs are amazing but so are the lessons learned from losses.

As you prepare to enter this perfectly imperfect world, be assured that I will try to provide as much good, highs, happiness, love, laughter and triumphs as possible, and will always stand with you through the bad, lows, sadness, tears and losses.
