PEP gets underway today, continues tomorrow
After months of nervous preparation, the first batch of Grade six students to sit the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) exams will be able to sleep easy tomorrow night.
Thousands of students across the nations schools sat the curriculum based Language Arts test this morning at 9:00 AM, and then the Science paper at 11:45 AM.
Tomorrow they will tackle Mathematics in the morning, and Social Studies in the afternoon. Each paper lasts for one hour and 30 minutes.
The communication task component was completed earlier this year, and students from the corporate are who spoke with teenAGE were confident that they did well. They were nervous about sitting this round of tests, but were in high spirits nonetheless, as they felt prepared.
We definitely wish these little ones all the best in their exams, as we get ready to welcome them into the fold when they start high school in September!
