The Tessellated and Shenseea collaboration we’ve been waiting for has finally come!

For some time now the Pine and Ginger and Hallucinate singer had been teasing fans on social media about an upcoming collaboration with Dancehall’s princess, Shenseea, and Jamaican-born rapper Zac Jone$, called Freeza. And just when we’d start becoming wary that ‘soon’ wouldn’t come soon enough, the trio dropped the track.

 The three minute long song starts out with a jazzy piano intro then graduates into a mix of hip hop and dancehall flavours. The blend of music styles is typical of Tessellated songs.

From the very beginning Zac Jone$ brings the hip hop meets dancehall vibe singing, “Ben it up like a supm you a tek up” before Tessellated begins to tell us about the mystery girl who’s heart is cold like a 

freeza.

“Dem seh she cold like freeza / 

Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme likkle / 

You a tease, yah”  pleads Tessellated, before the ice princess Shenseea reminds us, “

Man a wicked suh mi haffi wicked-er”

 Job well done, Tess, Shenseea and Zac,
