#Champs2019: KC’S Gray, Wray takes 1-2 in Class 3 100m hurdles
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kingston College’s Ra’john Gray and Amontae Wray registered a one-two finish in the boys’ Class Three 100m hurdles on the final day of the 109th staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletic Championships underway at the National Stadium.
Both Gray and Wray, who have been in superb form all season, were expected to battle for gold and silver and they did not disappoint.
Gray won in 13.17 in a negative 1.5 metres per second wind reading ahead of Wray (13.18) with Allem Pinto (13.25) of St Elizabeth Technical in third.
The one-two by the duo pushed KC up to 226 points as they continue to lead defending champions Calabar on 168 points.
