#Champs2019: Jago’s Nembhard, Edwin Allen’s Wilson win Classes 3 &4 hurdles titles
KINGSTON, Jamaica — St Jago’s Danae Nembhard and Santae Wilson of Edwin Allen, finished tops in the girls’ Class Three and Four 70m and 80m hurdles respectively on the final day of the 109th staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletic Championships underway at the National Stadium.
Nembhard, the Class Four record holder, crowned herself class three champion with a tidy victory in 11.08, finishing ahead of teammate Kay-lagay Clarke (11.25) and Alexis James (11.28) of Petersfield.
In the class four event, Wilson was ahead of the competition in 10.49, with Habiba Harris (10.64) of St Elizabeth Technical and St Jago’s Jaeda Mitchell (10.75) taking the runners-up positions.
