Sebastian was the first to show in a slow pace before Kingsman took a narrow lead 900 metres out and led into the upper straight. Coming off the bridle in pursuit, Sebastian responded to vigorous handling from 500 metres out and stayed on strongly to expose the existing stamina limitations of third placed Kingsman by 6 lengths with Tricky One, the actual runner-up, beaten by 4 ½ lengths.
RACE 2-MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT DIV I (3- YEAROLDCOLTS&GELDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS
Don Almighty, running well on the inner rails, kept Beach Boy on the outside to the top of the stretch before injecting extra pace to go clear, scoring a well controlled victory with a 4 ½ length margin to spare over Bloodsweatandtears.
RACE 3-$1,000,000-850,000 CLAIMING (3-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS
Crucial Appeal and Run Thatcher Run went in pursuit of Go Go Girl who set a fast gallop before disappearing at the top of the lane. In front in the upper stretch, Crucial Appeal battled gamely until overwhelmed by the class of the 2018 local juvenile champion inside the last 200 metres. Run Thatcher Run scored by 3 ½ lengths easing down in a time of 1:12.4 on the slow track to send a frightening warning to his rival Classic aspirants that, after his injury setback, he will be ready for the 2000 Guineas on April 14, 2019.
RACE 4-MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT DIVII (3YOCOLTS&GELDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS

RACE 5-MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT (THREE-YEAR-OLDFILLIES) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS
Mystic Mama disputed the lead with Black River to the top of the straight to hold a pressured advantage in the upper stretch. Held up and showing no sign of greenness when asked to attack the leader 250 metres out, I Am Di One struck the front easily and went on to impress with an 8-length victory margin.
RACE 6-CHAIRMAN’S TROPHY GRADE I (3-YEAR-OLDS&UP) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS
Chace The Great was suckered into a battle for the early headlines with pacemaker Drummer Boy before going clear with 1000 metres to go. Held up and confidently ridden, She’s A Maneater made steady headway to catch the leader early in the last 200 metres to coast home by 3 ½ lengths.
RACE 7-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V DIV II (4-YEAR-OLDS&UP/NW2) 1400MERES/7FURLONGS
Cherokee Way had Danceallnight and Smarty Tradition for company before establishing a two-length advantage on turning for home. Away from early in September, well-gambled Bindaredundat went in pursuit of Cherokee Way and only failed by a neck.
RACE 8-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II DIV I (4YOS&UPWARDS/NW2) 1400METRES/7FURLONGS
Being slowly into stride and being last but one in the early gallop had no effect as Messi mended steadily throughout to subdue rivals by 4 ½ lengths.
RACE 9-$250-200,000 CLAIMING (4-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1300METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS
Strike It Lucky led Fiery Path and No Money Friend in unconvincing manner into the stretch drive. Stan Roy, from a prominent position, stormed to the lead approaching the distance and won by 10 ½ lengths.
RACE 10-$350-300,000 CLAIMING (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND
Tough Cookie led favourite Kimberly Gold to the top of the stretch before dropping away tamely. Left in front Kimberly Gold went clear to win by 2 ½ lengths from Prince Kamali.
RACE 11-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (5-YEAR-OLDS&UP/NW3) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS
In a very competitive backstretch gallop led by Uncle Wal, Lady Exotic, Thundereble and Miss Judy the leaders left themselves vulnerable. Thundereble shot clear approaching the distance but fell prey by a short head to the strong late run of Colt Of Arms.
