St Ann’s Bay Hospital CEO dies
ST ANN, Jamaica – The North East Regional Health Authority (NERHA) has announced the sudden death of chief executive officer of the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, A Leo Garel.
NERHA said that Garel joined NERHA on December 4, 2000 as the regional personnel manager. He also worked as chief executive officer at the Annotto Bay Hospital during the period November 10, 2003 to June 4, 2004 and later assumed the position of chief executive officer at the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital on April 1, 2014, a position he held until his sudden death earlier this morning.
“He will be remembered as a true professional, who brought a wealth of experience to the positions he held and approached his work with passion and dedication,” NERHA said in its announcement..
