Road closures downtown Kingston for Dennis Brown concert
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Several roads are to be closed to facilitate the staging of the annual Dennis Brown Tribute Concert at the Kingston Waterfront on Ocean Boulevard in downtown Kingston tomorrow.
The event, which is being organised by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports in association with the Ministry of Tourism will commence at 6:00 pm, Sunday.
To facilitate the event, the police say the following thoroughfares will be closed from 6:00 pm this evening until tomorrow: Nethersole Place, Ocean Boulevard, King Street, Port Royal Street and Church Street.
Patrons are being asked to park at the Bank of Jamaica parking lot for VIPs and JCDC staff, while general admission will park at the UDC’s Northern & Southern parking lot.
