Seafood lovers know that when your palate is awash with flavours of the sea, you’re at a happy juncture in life, and you are also aware of just how difficult it can be to satisfy that want sometimes.

Rebel T’s Seafood Kitchen located in Ironshore, Montego Bay, is aiming to make your seafood life a little easier, with the convenience of a phone call to see what’s on the day’s menu, placing your order and setting your time for pick-up.

The brainchild of Tracy Gayle, a seafood lover herself, Rebel T’s Seafood Kitchen was opened last month.

“My friends and I staged a fish fry last year and the response was unbelievable; the demand and feedback on the taste just blew me away. I have always loved cooking and I’m always in the kitchen, so I decided to go for it and the response has been phenomenal,” said an excited Gayle.

“I wanted to create a convenient option for seafood lovers that was reasonably priced and offered great-tasting food for persons looking to escape the normal lunch options. My food reflects my personality: fun, colourful, bold and vibrant. And I’m happy when my customers are happy; I love their feedback and this pushes me even further,” Gayle added.

“Everything is done fresh and to-order daily. We do lobster, fish, conch and octopus, in varying methods from steamed, curried, fried, grilled. The aim is to keep the variety, and grow. I want to introduce additions to the menu and services, view the menu from a dedicated Instagram page daily and introduce a delivery service. We are listening to our customers, and eventually we’ll get it to exactly where we want it,” explained Gayle.
