Gas prices up $3.07, diesel up $2.92
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, February 20, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $125.49 and $128.33 per litre, respectively, up by $3.07 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $135.12 per litre following an increase of $2.92 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $2.98, and will be sold for $136.50 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $3.45 and will be sold for $112.74 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $46.59 per litre, up by $2.94 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $55.05 per litre after an increase of $3.10.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
