Traffic trials
As the many roadwork sites punctuate the flow of vehicles across town and country, columnist Lance Neita takes a journey on the lighter side of things, despite the perturbation and frustrations expressed by motorists who must navigate the road network. In a ‘country come to town’ manner he marvels at the patience displayed by many as they sit for hours in traffic, snacks at the ready, and envisages the time when all this construction will be over and — like the Jamaica he knows — new ones begin.
