Scuba diving instructor drowns in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND , Jamaica — A scuba diving instructor is suspected to have drowned at sea in Negril, Westmoreland on Monday.
She is 69-year-old Martine Cuggia of Boul Labelle, St Therese, Canada and West End, Negril.
Reports from the Negril police are that about midday, Cuggia was conducting swimming lessons when she allegedly got into difficulties and drowned.
The police were alerted and she was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigations continue.
