Gas prices up $2.86, diesel up $2.13
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, February 14, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $122.42 and $125.26 per litre, respectively, up by $2.86 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $132.20 per litre following an increase of $2.13 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.13, and will be sold for $133.52 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.12 and will be sold for $109.29 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $43.65 per litre, down by $0.60 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $51.95 per litre after a decrease of $1.49.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
