Alfred Campbell’s funeral Saturday
Former Red Stripe executive Alfred Campbell, who died on January 24, will be laid to rest this Saturday after a funeral service at St Stephens United Church in Cross Roads, St Andrew, starting at 10:00 am.
Campbell joined the company in 1965. He left in December 1999, having served for 35 years in various capacities, rising to the position of plant manager.
In January 2000, he joined the staff of Pepsi Cola Jamaica Bottling Company Limited which had started operations in in the island in 1999.
He worked with Pepsi Cola until 2010 when he retired as the plant manager.
Yesterday, his friends remembered him as a loyal and committed employee to both companies, the consummate professional who earned the respect of his fellow co-workers.
He had a passion for dogs and at the time of his death was president of the German Shepherd/Rottweiler Club. He was also a member of the Kennel Club.
