NAIN, St Elizabeth – JISCO Alpart Jamaica recently held its inaugural schools’ netball competition at the Frankfield Primary School with 12 primary schools and three high schools participating.
The schools were drawn from JISCO Alpart’s mining operating communities – all active participants in the Home School Street (HSS) Safety motivational programme.
Bethabara Primary School emerged winners of the Under-13 category by defeating Prattville Primary School 5-1 in the final. The Under-16 category was won by May Day High School after they blew past Winston Jones High and Cross Keys High 15-0 and 28-0 respectively.
