Missing taxi driver’s car found, police intensify investigations
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police say they have found the Nissan Tiida motor belonging to missing Jones Town taxi operator Kenneth Duncan and have since intensified their investigation into his disappearance.
The constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), in a statement yesterday, said the vehicle was found in Dallas Castle, St Andrew on Tuesday, February 5.
Detectives said that all investigative leads uncovered have been followed and they are now appealing to persons who may have information that can assist them to come forward.
The 51-year-old taxi driver, otherwise called ‘Twinnie’, of Crooks Street, Kingston 12 has been missing since Thursday, January 31.
He was last seen at the Kingston Public Hospital wearing a white T- shirt, khaki pants and a pair of black slippers.
Duncan’s colleagues on Wednesday withdrew their service to protest against his disappearance and expressed fear for their safety.
