Price is right for Shellinz
Dancehall artiste Shellinz has released the song Price Right , a track he hopes will give him well-needed exposure. It is the first release from his EP of the same name, scheduled for release in May.
Shellinz shared the inspiration behind the song, which is produced by Golden Rock Music.
“The song is (about) everyday relationship, an’ man an’ woman issues. I just want to let the females know that if they get into a relationship for fringe benefits, it’s not a crime, as long as they are okay with what they are getting,” he said.
The Portmore-based deejay, who once resided in Gutters, Old Harbour, was born Leon Flash.
Now signed to Golden Rock Music, Shellinz is known for songs including Rocket, Fatherless and 30 Mil A Day. His forthcoming EP, due in May, contains seven songs which were produced by Keith “Goldie” Beecher.
“ Price Right is a good song and for a time, persons have been asking me to make the video. Shooting the video in St Catherine was important because this is where I was born and raised,” said Shellinz, who recently performed at the Portmore Music Festival.
