Westmoreland farmer dies in motorcycle crash

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Investigators assigned to the Westmoreland Police Divison are probing the circumstance surrounding the fatal collision that claimed the life of a man on the Williamsfield main road in Westmoreland last night.

Dead is 35-year-old Oral Spence, a farmer of Williamsfield.

Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar police are that Spence was riding a Hi-Rev motorcycle about 10:50 pm towards Grange district when on reaching a section of the roadway he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a yard.

Spence sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
