CEO of Signarma Jamaica and St Jago High School alumnus Adriel Mckay (left) and Principal Collette Pryce congratulate Gladwyn Scott (second left) and Damario Patterson for outstanding performance at the school’s annual prize-giving and awards ceremony of excellence on the school grounds, Thursday last. Scott received the award on behalf of his sister, Tashai, now a medical student at The University of the West Indies, who got the highest Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination grades at St Jago this year. She sat Unit 2 of Caribbean studies, chemistry, biology and economics, and both units of physics. She earned grade one in each, except for Unit 2 of physics in which she scored grade 2. Meanwhile Patterson, now a lower sixth form student, had the best grades inCaribbean Secondary Education Certificate scores, bagging 11 ones in history, chemistry, English ‘A’, English ‘B’, French, IT, mathemeatics, principles of accounts, religious education, social studies, and Spanish. St Jago is one of four high schools located in the former capital city, Spanish Town.
