Port Antonio hit three past Oracabessa
Port Antonio, Portland — Port Antonio High got by Oracabessa High 3-0 at Carder Park in their second-round ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup game on Saturday, to advance to the quarter-finals with a 5-0 aggregate score.
Tyrese Shaw with a penalty in the 42nd minute, Andrew Layne in the 55th, and Oneil Pryce in the 79th minute were on target.
Port Antonio took the lead just before the interval when Oracabessa goalkeeper, Leonardo Saunders pulled down Tojay Puran and Referee Alexei Perry pointed to the penalty spot. Shaw made no mistake.
Port Antonio came out attacking in the second half and went further ahead when Tajoy Puran moved down the left flank and squared to Layne, who dismissed a defender and fired in.
They completed the scoring when substitute Pryce picked up a ball deep in the Oracabessa half and beat a defender and when faced with the advancing Sunders he calmly placed the ball into the open goal.
