Man shot, chopped to death in Trelawny
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The Trelawny police are reporting the murder of a 63-year-old man who was shot and chopped to death by an unknown assailant following an altercation Bunkers Hill in the parish yesterday afternoon.
The dead man has been identified as Oliver Johnson, otherwise called ‘Bujah’, a farmer from the Bunkers Hill community.
Reports are about 2:00 pm, Johnson and another man were involved in an altercation during which Johnson was shot and chopped multiple times.
The police were summoned and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
